DARKNIGHT’S ‘SAMURAI AVENGER’ WINS THE AUDIENCE AWARD AT MAUVAIS GENRE FILM FESTIVAL

Los Angeles – (April 15, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that Camelot’s DarKnight Pictures’ acquisition Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf took home the Prix Du Public (Audience Award) at the Mauvais Genre Film Festival.  This is now the second audience award and tenth accolade.

Samurai Avenger continues to shine at every screening,” remarked Jessica Kelly, Camelot VP of Marketing and PR.  “At the Mauvais Genre’s screening, the film received a standing ovation.  This little film has gained quite a following. We plan on carrying this enthusiasm to the Marche Du Film in Cannes next month.”

Additional awards garnered by Samurai Avenger include the AUDIENCE AWARD at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, BEST OF FEST at Indie Fest USA, and BEST FILM at Fantastic Planet Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.

Samurai: Avenger: The Blind Wolf is a story of a blind man who seeks revenge against the psychopath who took away his sight and slaughtered his family.  This is a bloody modern day fable with spaghetti western spirit.

The film is a Mitsutake Production, directed by Kurando Mitsutake, written by John Migdal and Kurando Mitsutake, and produced by Kurando Mitsutake and Chiaki Yanagimoto.

Distribution Division Acquires Jeremy London and Ed Begley Jr Drama

Los Angeles – (April 14, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that Camelot Distribution Group has acquired Next of Kin, a film about the bittersweet reunion for Catherine and her kid brother, Jake, who meet after a fifteen year time lapse when their mother suffers a fatal car accident.

“We added this touching story to our line-up just as MIPTV kicked off,” stated Jamie Thompson, President of Camelot Distribution Group. “The demand for female driven content has increased significantly in the past few years, and NEXT OF KIN is an excellent example of the type of programming many of the international broadcasters are looking for.”

The cast introduces Andrew Lockridge and includes Kate Orsini (“Monk”), Bess Armstrong (“My So Called Life” & Jaws 3-D), George Newbern (Saw VI, Father of the Bride II), Jeremy London (Gods and Generals, Mallrats, “Party of Five”), Ed Begley, Jr (Pineapple Express, For Your Consideration).

The film is written by Kate Orsini, directed by Martha Elcan, and produced by Joe Lorenzo under his Society Entertainment banner.

Camelot Makes Way to France for the Annual Television Market

Los Angeles – (April 8, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that Camelot Distribution Group will be attending MIPTV, the industry’s annual networking conference for the television market in Cannes, France. Leading the Camelot contingent from April 12-16 will be Vice President of Sales Jeffrey Giles.  Camelot’s 2010 MIPTV line-up will include the recently acquired Fink! and Who is KK Downey?

Who is KK Downey? - A story of two wannabes willing to do anything that makes them famous, even inventing a character who becomes an overnight sensation…but of course at a price.

Fink!A crime adventure about four fiercely outlandish hit men, three seasoned slackers, two idealist computer hackers, and an undercover cop whose paths all ironically cross when one of them screws over crime lord Terence Fink.

The Camelot line-up also includes The Fallen, Screwball: The Ted Whitfield Story, and One Lucky Dog.

The DarKnight Pictures’ line-up includes: Nude Nuns with Big Guns, Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf, First Strike, Never Sleep Again, and Unearthed: The Hell Raiser Saga.
