Distribution Group Acquires Domestic Rights to English Thriller

Universal City, CA – (January 19, 2012) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that Camelot Distribution Group has acquired domestic distribution rights to THE HOLDING, an exciting thriller, released by Lionsgate in the UK in September 2011. The film stars David Bradley (Harry Potter, Hot Fuzz), Kierston Wareing (It’s a Free World, Fish Tank), and Vincent Regan (300, Clash of the Titans), and follows the story of a mother living with a dark, buried secret and the stranger who digs it up.

“This should be a great pick-up for a savvy US DVD and digital distributor that wants a hardboiled sexy thriller in the vein of Strawdogs,” stated Michael Kananack Co-President of Distribution.

THE HOLDING is a Pistachio Pictures/Notorious Films production and is co-produced by Gateway Films and Leopardrama.  Directed by Susan Jacobsen, THE HOLDING screened in festivals around the world, including the Chicago International Film Festival After Dark and Fantastic Film Festival in the US.

On an isolated farm in the English Countryside, Cassie Naylor kills her husband to protect her daughters from him. Eight months later, when a charming drifter shows up, her terrible secret comes back to haunt her in the most horrifying and unexpected way.
