DARKNIGHT’S ‘SAMURAI AVENGER’ WINS THE AUDIENCE AWARD AT MAUVAIS GENRE FILM FESTIVAL

Los Angeles – (April 15, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that Camelot’s DarKnight Pictures’ acquisition Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf took home the Prix Du Public (Audience Award) at the Mauvais Genre Film Festival.  This is now the second audience award and tenth accolade.

“Samurai Avenger continues to shine at every screening,” remarked Jessica Kelly, Camelot VP of Marketing and PR.  “At the Mauvais Genre’s screening, the film received a standing ovation.  This little film has gained quite a following. We plan on carrying this enthusiasm to the Marche Du Film in Cannes next month.”

Additional awards garnered by Samurai Avenger include the AUDIENCE AWARD at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, BEST OF FEST at Indie Fest USA, and BEST FILM at Fantastic Planet Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.

Samurai: Avenger: The Blind Wolf is a story of a blind man who seeks revenge against the psychopath who took away his sight and slaughtered his family.  This is a bloody modern day fable with spaghetti western spirit.

The film is a Mitsutake Production, directed by Kurando Mitsutake, written by John Migdal and Kurando Mitsutake, and produced by Kurando Mitsutake and Chiaki Yanagimoto.

CLIVE BARKER CREATES CENOBITE FOR CAMELOT’S “UNEARTHED: THE HELLRAISER SAGA”

DarKnight Pictures to Distribute Hellraiser Inspired Documentary

Los Angeles – (March 16, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”), DarKnight Pictures (“DKP”) and MasiMedia, LLC announced today that Clive Barker is creating a new Cenobite for the upcoming documentary UNEARTHED: THE HELLRAISER SAGA. Being Barker’s first Cenobite in over a two decades to make it on film, this retrospective will include the complete transformation of a Cenobite from conception to form.

“This retrospective will be different than the ones we have done for other horror franchises, because the creator, Clive, will be imbuing the project with original and exclusive artwork that will help tell our story. This is something everyone is excited about,” explained Producer Anthony Masi.  “Clive’s work in the horror genre shares a unique vision that has many complex layers.”

‘UNEARTHED’ is a MasiMedia Production, produced by Anthony Masi, directed by Stefan Hutchinson, and written by Ryan Turek.  Camelot Chairman Robert Atwell and Camelot President of Distribution Jamie Thompson will serve as Executive Producers.

“We are very enthusiastic to have Clive Barker on board,” exclaimed Thompson.  “He is not only an amazing writer but also an incredible visual artist.  He has the ability to bring stunning imagery to life.”

This 90-minute documentary, which includes three to four hours of bonus material, steps behind the scenes and explores the legacy, art form, and themes of Barker’s two decades of Cenobites in the Hellraiser series.

‘UNEARTHED’ is currently in production.

CAMELOT’S DARKNIGHT PICTURES ANNOUNCES EFM LINE-UP

Camelot Heads to the European Film Market in Berlin

Los Angeles – (February 4, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today its DarKnight Pictures’ (“DarKnight”) European Film Market line-up.  DarKnight is a division of Camelot Distribution Group, specializing in genre driven product. Camelot Distribution’s sales team will head to Berlin from February 11-20, 2010 to sell international distribution rights of its acquired films. DarKnight will also be looking to acquire films for domestic release in the U.S. and Canada.

DarKnight’s line-up includes:

Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf follows the story of a blind man seeks revenge against the psychopath who took away his sight and slaughtered his family.  This bloody modern day fable is an action film with spaghetti western spirit.

In First Strike, a former expert in the U.S military’s top-secret psychic spy program races against the clock to stop an incurable, bio-engineered virus that could end civilization, as we know it.

Nude Nuns with Big Guns takes on the grindhouse genre.  On the verge of death from a lethal dose of drugs, Sister Sarah receives a message from God telling her to take vengeance on all those who did her wrong.

Unearthed: The Hellraiser Saga steps behind the scenes and explores every facet and theme of Clive Barker’s two decades of Cenobites in the Hellraiser series.

Zombie Culture: Documentary of the Living Dead is a retrospective on an eight-decade international obsession with cinematic zombies.

Camelot Distribution Group will announce its entire EFM lineup early next week.
