Joseph Guzman has been behind the camera in several roles, while always working his way to the director’s chair. During his time as a filmmaker Guzman has worked as producer on the short film Spyware, the supernatural thriller Chingaso the Clown, and the feature Driving Bill Crazy in 2008. His first feature as a director was the ultra-violent Run! Bitch Run!, which starred Christina DeRosa and Cheryl Lyone. This film involved two Catholic schoolgirls on the run from crazed drug dealers. Guzman has also worked as an art director on several films and his latest film is called Nude Nuns with Big Guns. This film is slated for a 2010 release and Nude Nuns takes off the habits of many of the female characters in exchange for long barrelled weaponry. Read more>

Grindhouse Film to be Released in Scandinavia

Universal City, CA – (July 27, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGRD) (“Camelot”) and DarKnight Pictures (“DKP”) announced today that CCV Entertainment has obtained all-media rights for Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland for DKP’s Nude Nuns with Big Guns.

’Nude Nuns’ has found a great home in Scandinavia,” stated Jeffrey Giles, Camelot VP of Sales and Distribution.  “CCV Entertainment is one of Scandinavia’s oldest film distribution companies and has theatrically released films including Splice (Adrien Brody) and Inhale (Diane Kruger, Dermot Mulroney).”

Nude Nuns with Big Guns is a Freak Show Entertainment Production that follows the revenge of Sister Sarah after she is raped, drugged, and abused by a sinister clergy and a rogue motorcycle gang.

This April Samurai Avenger Will Be Seen From Europe to Down Under

Los Angeles – (March 25, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today that DarKnight Pictures’ acquisition Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf will be release on DVD in Germany on April 9, 2010 by 8-Films and in Australia on April 17, 2010 by 21st Century Pictures.  The film will also make its debut in France the first week of April competing for best feature film at the Mauvais Genre Film Festival.  The festival will take place April 2-5, 2010.

“Samurai Avenger continues to perform in the international marketplace. Buyers remain confident in the film’s cult value, clear definition of genre and ability to meet expectations,” remarked Jeffrey Giles, Camelot VP of Sales and Distribution.  “As attendees of the Mauvais Festival will discover, Samurai Avenger was made for audiences to enjoy; for distributors, that means business.

Samurai: Avenger: The Blind Wolf is a story of a blind man who seeks out revenge against the psychopath who blinded him and slaughtered both his wife and daughter. Eight years following the massacre, the man now a highly trained samurai swordsman, the man returns to the town seeking revenge. However, he does not know that seven assassins hired by his sworn enemy want a bounty on his head.

It is a Mitsutake Production, directed by Kurando Mitsutake, written by John Migdal and Kurando Mitsutake, and produced by Kurando Mitsutake and Chiaki Yanagimoto.

The cast includes Mitsutake, Jeffrey James Lippold, Domiziano Arcangeli (Bruno), and Amanda Plummer (Pulp Fiction, The Fischer King).

Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf won the AUDIENCE AWARD at Another Hole in the Head Film Festival, BEST OF FEST at Indie Fest USA, and BEST FILM at Fantastic Planet Film Festival in Sydney, Australia.

Camelot Heads to the European Film Market in Berlin

Los Angeles – (February 4, 2010) Camelot Entertainment Group, Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) (”Camelot”) announced today its DarKnight Pictures’ (“DarKnight”) European Film Market line-up.  DarKnight is a division of Camelot Distribution Group, specializing in genre driven product. Camelot Distribution’s sales team will head to Berlin from February 11-20, 2010 to sell international distribution rights of its acquired films. DarKnight will also be looking to acquire films for domestic release in the U.S. and Canada.

DarKnight’s line-up includes:

Samurai Avenger: The Blind Wolf follows the story of a blind man seeks revenge against the psychopath who took away his sight and slaughtered his family.  This bloody modern day fable is an action film with spaghetti western spirit.
