Jessica Kelly currently holds the position of Co-President of Distribution Group. She was brought on in 2009 as Director than Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations of Camelot Distribution Group, responsible for the all the creative marketing campaigns for sale and distribution of in-house productions and acquired projects. She represents Camelot's slate at markets and festivals, oversees company publicity, and liaises with management on acquisitions. Previous to Camelot, Kelly held the position of Director of Marketing at Quantum Releasing, LLC, as film sales agent. Kelly was a key member in creating the division and performed similar duties as now, including developing websites and extensive outreach to distributors through email campaigns. From 2006 through 2007, Kelly ventured to the Philippines and took a job as Marketing Manager at Bigfoot Entertainment, an independent studio. As head of the department, she created and executed marketing strategies for the company, its content, and its film school. Before gaining an in depth understanding of the independent world, Kelly worked for Sony Pictures in international publicity. She worked on such titles as Spider-Man 1 & 2, Hitch, Men In Black II, 50 First Dates, and Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle. Kelly also assisted in organizing global publicity tours, press junkets, and award campaigns, which gain numerous nominations and wins for Closer, Adaptation, and Big Fish. Kelly dabbled in the music and radio industry in New York City just after college. She served as Production Coordinator at Dick Clark's United Stations Radio Networks, handling the production of syndicated radio shows and band interviews while learning sound mixing. In addition, Kelly co-founded an entertainment company called Black-tie Entertainment, a company that discovered, promoted, and booked venues for up-and-coming bands. Kelly graduated from the School of Management and the School of Arts and Sciences of Syracuse University with a Dual BS in Marketing and Political Science and a minor in Business Law. |
